I have a home-safe that is TR-15 rated, do you offer discounts for proof of that?

Discounts are applicable for policies over $200,000 in value, and an in-home safe would be one qualification for a discount when you have a collection that size, along with whether you have an alarmed burglar system, if any watches are kept in vault, how often you travel, etc...

Once you reach the $200k threshold on our platform, you would be prompted with 8 security questions that would be reviewed to determine the applied discount and we would be in touch shortly after with your new quote and any required documents.

HODINKEE Insurace would ask, however, that in order to qualify for the Home-Safe discount, that you would provide proof that the home-safe is either installed and bolted or weigh at least 750lbs. We would also recommend a safe with a TRTL-30 rating (both torch and tool resistant for 30 minutes) as opposed to a TL-15 safe, which is only tool resistant to attack for 15 minutes.
