Topic: Buy a Watch

While it's not always necessary to open every watch in order to determine the authenticity of the watch (i.e. watches with an exhibition case back), it is more often the norm that we do to ensure that the watch meets our high standards. Aside from authenticating the watch and all of its components, some watches may require regulation or service in order to get it back into tip-top shape. That being said, our watchmakers will always test the seals and gaskets before and after removing the case back to ensure the timepieces meet all brand standards.
