Do you service and polish every watch before it's sold?

Because the watches we sell are pre-owned, we don't always have access to previous service history records. Because of this, after a watch is verified authentic, we test its performance and condition. These tests measure the watch's vitals, the functionality of complications (date wheel, chronograph, etc), water resistance, and pressure ratings. Only if necessary, the watch will then be serviced and sent to our refinishing shop for cleaning and a light polish. We strive to never over polish in order to maintain the structure and the integrity of the watch and make any previous wear less apparent to the future owner. All tests and services we perform are to ensure that the watch is functioning as intended and looks fantastic prior to being listed and sold.
