How do I know the watch I buy from your site is real?

Are your items authentic?

Crown & Caliber certifies that every timepiece we sell is 100% real. We don’t accept any items that are knock-offs or that contain parts unacceptable to Swiss standards. This would include timepieces with aftermarket diamonds. We have full-time watchmakers on staff with more than 20 years of experience in authenticating and servicing luxury watches. Crown & Caliber verifies the authenticity of each and every item through a multi-point process, and if any items do not fit our rigorous quality standards, we don’t accept them. 

As a note, in the pre-owned watch market, it is common to use aftermarket crystals when repairing a timepiece. We try to avoid changing crystals in all cases. However, in select cases when a new crystal is required, our Swiss-trained watchmakers will replace it with a Swiss-approved crystal matching the original specification of the watch model.
